There’s so much transient beauty in nature...

There’s so much transient beauty in nature...
.
I had some fun with my girls taking these mushroom photos.
.
They were really excited because overnight a giant crop of mushrooms appeared under our trampoline.
.
You can see them in the first two photos.
.
Aren’t the close-ups gorgeous?
.
There must have been a couple of thousand mushrooms there. Incredible!
.
This is what the rains brought in.
.
My dad has the idea of buying shiitake spores to grow. Hmmm... I’ve seen shiitake logs before but haven’t tried it myself. Let me know if you have.
.
The last couple mushrooms were taken on a nature walk near my parents home. I have a mushroom identification app (NOT to be trusted for edible identification and FYI all the mushrooms shown here are inedible), and had a great time identifying over 24 different kinds of mushrooms in one walk!
.
It was a magical experience.
.
One of those unplanned surprises that you just have to go with.
.
Because the mushrooms won’t stay around for long.
.
It’s a gentle reminder for how to live.
.
To be grateful for the transient beauty
.
Of the normal experiences
.
Whether there’s blue skies or storms
.
We need both
.
And there’s a magnificence through it all
.
Even though it may not make sense to our human minds
.
We are always shifting
.
Evolving
.
Flowing with nature
.
Let’s flow with her rhythms

PS - Don’t go eating wild mushrooms unless you’re an expert at identifying them. I’m thinking of joining one of the hikes with the Georgia Mushroom Club
