This is my Mindful Photography walk at McIntosh Nature Reserve today

  • This is my Mindful Photography walk at McIntosh Nature Reserve today
    .
    I’m not a photographer
    .
But Marianne Ellis has taught such an amazing class in Mindful Photography
    .
So here I am walking the talk
    .
    What did I notice?
    .
    πŸ’– How resilient nature is
    .
πŸ’– How wounds in the tree healed into beautiful curves
    .
πŸ’– How a fallen tree can still grow towards the light
    .
πŸ’– How a sapling tree branch was birthed from a prior injury
    .
It reminded me of that Netflix documentary My Octopus Teacher @seachangeproject
    .
Where I learned that an octopus can grow a new arm when one is broken off
    .
It takes a lot of work and energy
    .
But it is a natural process to heal
    .
We all have an infinite potential to heal
    .
    No matter what
    .
    It’s our true nature
    .
    To tend towards health
    .
    Towards balance
    .
    Towards the light
    .
