Take a dance class! And this one just happened to be with an Alvin Ailey dancer Holly Hyman via Ailey Extension in my parents’ living room. Why not?!

Holly and the Ailey Extension family could not have been more welcoming and encouraging
.
Holly talked about committing to the movement you are making with your body
.
Loving your body and letting yourself see how it moves
.
And using the breath to make the movement more fluid and beautiful
.

I was nervous taking a class as an adult beginner (meaning no dance experience except for ballet at age 3)

But why not?! 2020 seems like the perfect time to do something you’ve always wanted to do

This is nourishment for your mind, body, and soul!
