The earth is recovering and so are we.

The earth is recovering and so are we. Today, we soaked up some sunshine in a nearby field of buttercups, grass, clovers, and weeds.
.
I love local weeds - they make some of the best healers.
.
They are hardy and can withstand difficult conditions, while still managing to blossom
.
I spotted some common plantain on my walk
.
I first learned about Plantain from my 4th-grade science teacher who use to take us on nature walks and point them out
.
It’s a gentle, broad-leaf plant whose leaves can be used as a poultice for insect bites
.
As I walked through the forest, I felt the vibrations of the earth
.
There was something different
.
It’s like it was still processing changes
.
Like we would if we had a big detox
.
Or any healing treatment
.
There’s a period of rest and assimilation afterwards
.
It’s not about jumping right back into business as usual
.
There’s an honoring of the shifts that have occurred
.
I feel like we are collectively going through that as well
.
We are healing on a global scale - separate yet together
.
Old wounds are being tended to in the stillness
.
Often these old wounds are demanding our loving attention
.
In order to go through a transformation on a large scale
.
It requires so much courage and patience
.
Endless patience
.
That we arriving at a new balance point of oneness
.
With more peace, love, and joy
.
Let’s create this world together
.
Air hugs,

I had a great time yesterday talking to the incredible Kate T. Parker who created the @strongisthenewpretty movement.
