Meditation to Transform Your Heart Shield into a Shield of Light

Meditation to Transform Your (Heavy) Heart Shield into a Shield of Light
.
I created this meditation in response to current trends I’m seeing
.
With the ongoing impact of stress and grief (see my prior post on this)
.
Many people have developed what I call a heart shield
.
A heavy heart shield can feel like tension in the chest
.
Some kind of weight on the chest
.
With a breath that is not freely moving into the belly like there’s a catch to it
.
(If you have sudden pressure in your chest or difficulty breathing, please seek medical attention immediately)
.
This can be accompanied by feelings of anxiety and/or depression
.
I say “grief” in the broad sense of the term
..
Missing your previous life
.
Missing loved ones whether they are alive or have already crossed over
.
Missing the freedom of travel
.
2020 has been piled on top of anything else in your life
.
And sometimes through the winter holiday months, you may notice these feelings even more
.
For these reasons, I’ve created a meditation to help loosen up that stiff heart shield
.
There is no feeling that a person cannot handle
.
But the mind thinks so
.
The heart shield develops as a coping mechanism
.
That’s ok for the short-term but not a sustainable way to feel for a long time
.
If you feel the need to have armor and a shield
.
Then make it out of light
.
Then you never forget what you’re made of
.
This is a ~9 minute meditation to help you through that transformation
.
