Lymph pumping for Healthcare Practitioners and those sick with COVID-19

  • Lymph pumping for Healthcare Practitioners and those sick with COVID-19

    THIS CAN SAVE LIVES
    April 4th, 2020
This is a call-to-action for healthcare practitioners, those sick with COVID-19, caretakers, and others interested to learn how to help drain inflammation or congestion. FREE Zoom classes are available. Read more to find out.
This novel Coronavirus is particularly dangerous for the lungs, creating thick mucus plugs in the airways that interfere with oxygenation.
Lymph pumping can help drain such congestion to help people breathe better. I have seen it happen many times, including for people with COVID-19. My hope is that use of this technique can relieve strain on medical practitioners and – most importantly – save lives.
My philosophy is to take the best of all worlds of medicine to not just fight disease but find health. Lymph pumping is one example of the diverse tools that I’ve learned and honed over my career. My name is Dr. Arlene Dijamco, a medical doctor specializing in integrative medicine, pediatrics, and osteopathy. Educated at Harvard, Emory, and Albert Einstein, my approach to medicine expanded tremendously after Dr. Andrew Weil’s two-year integrative medicine fellowship program with the University of Arizona.
Like my friends and colleagues, I want to make a difference in a way that is safe, efficient, and effective for all involved. Perhaps, a simple technique like lymph pumping can bring some hope.
Here’s what people who have experienced lymph pumping in the last week have said: .
“I can take a deep breath again. I haven’t been able to do that for two days.”
“I can feel my sinuses draining. I haven’t been able to get anything out before.”
“I can feel the fluid moving.”
“I can breathe so much better. I have so much more energy.”
    “This is amazing!”
  • Why the lymph?
  • The lymphatic system is vital for draining inflammation as well as clearing debris and toxins, including infection. It works via a network of vessels that carry a fluid called lymph. This fluid is filtered in lymph nodes. Lymph fluid is also rich in infection-fighting white blood cells. Effective lymphatic drainage can help balance a person’s immune response.
The lymph flow works like a siphon, meaning that the fluid moves via suction. Think about draining a fish tank. You start the pump with your hand, then once water starts flowing, it continues on its own. But if there is a kink in the system, the flow can become sluggish or even stop altogether. The lymph system works the same way in our bodies. If functioning, fluids move seamlessly and well. When something gets stuck, it’s a problem.
    What can lymph pumping do?
    Decrease inflammation
Open up airways while encouraging the drainage of mucus
    Relieve sinus congestion
    Ease tension in the diaphragm
    Relax the body
    What is the lymph-pumping technique?
There are many approaches to lymph pumping. The one that I’ll teach (via Zoom) is an osteopathic technique likely developed by Dr. William Sutherland. I have found this to be efficient, effective, and transferable – as in, it can be learned and utilized fairly easily -- especially if people are taught how to be more precise. Often, you’ll see improvement within minutes.
How can I arrange a class?
See link in bio for details.
Currently, this class is being taught FREE with support from generous donations to All Worlds Foundation.

Thank you so much for your interest in this important work that can help save lives.
PLEASE SHARE WITH HEALTHCARE WORKERS ANYWHERE and THOSE SICK WITH COVID-19 and THEIR CARETAKERS.
    With love,
    Arlene Dijamco, MD
