Walking the talk... I started learning Tai chi about two years ago at first for physical balance.

This slow-moving martial art was a challenge for me.

Sometimes I would feel impatient.
.
I would want to speed it up and muscle through.
.
But the beauty of Tai chi is in the fluid stillness of the movement.

There is a constant flow that’s relaxed but not passive.
.
πŸ‘‰ A calm engagement that is so much stronger than being tense or passive.
.
With this I’ve learned to balance on the rocks on the sea wall (something I couldn’t do before)
.
And more importantly, what a great life-lesson this practice has been
.
With a relaxed focus, β€”> reflexes are faster
β€”> thoughts are clearer
β€”> flexibility (and adaptability) increases
β€”> strength comes with ease
β€”> and flowing through stress becomes the new norm πŸ™Œ
.
It’s about balance-

Not overly-focused tunnel vision,
Nor complete disinterest

Basically letting yourself be, embracing each moment
